Certified Professional for Software Architecture
Die Rolle des Software-Architekten einzunehmen ist eine immer wichtigere Aufgabe, die eine fundierte Ausbildung erfordert.
Mit dem iSAQB ® Certified Professional for Software Architecture Programm existiert ein weltweit anerkanntes, standardisiertes Aus- und Weiterbildungsschema für Software-Architekten. Das Schema besteht aus drei Ausbildungsstufen:
- Foundation Level (seit 2003)
- Advanced Level (in Vorbereitung)
- Expert Level (geplant)
Die zugehörigen Lehrpläne und Prüfungsfragen werden in Deutschland vom International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB) entwickelt und herausgegeben. Prüfungen werden von durch das iSAQB beauftragten Zertifizierungsstellen angeboten und durchgeführt.
Die Weiterbildung zum Certified Professional for Software Architecture ist international erfolgreich. In Deutschland gab es Anfang 2008 bereits über 400 zertifizierte Software Architekten.
Die Prüfungsteilnehmer sind Softwarefachleute aus allen Branchen (Automobilindustrie, Finanzdienstleistung, Medizintechnik, Telekommunikation, öffentliche Verwaltung u.a.)
Auch an Hochschulen ist geplant Lehrveranstaltungen auf Basis der Certified Professional for Software Architecture Lehrpläne anzubieten. Die Studenten können anschließend an die Vorlesung die Prüfung zum Certified Professional for Software Architecture, Foundation Level, ablegen.

The Certified Professional for Software Architecture Programme is recognised worldwide as a standard qualification scheme for software architects. It consists of three levels:
- Expert Level (planned)
- Advanced Level (in preparation)
- Foundation Level

The Qualification as a Certified Professional for Software Architecture is internationally successful. In germany there are more than 400 certified professionals for software architecture as of Jan / 2008.
