Conference digest – iSAQB @ OOP 2015!

This year marked the fifth time iSAQB e.V. had its own stand at the OOP conference, including a repeat of last year’s on-site iSAQB lounge!

Many of iSAQB’s leading minds were present and happy to answer individual questions as well as exchange experiences.

OOP 2015 took place between 26 and 30 January at the ICM Munich. As a meeting point for software architects and decision makers from the IT sector, the conference lived up to its motto ‘Software Meets Business’. Many active iSAQB members (including Matthias Bohlen, Uwe Friedrichsen, Frank Pientka, Gernot Starke, Stefan Toth, Eberhard Wolff…) gave presentations on software architecture, helping to enhance the OOP conference programme and underlining iSAQB’s competency in shaping the training of software architects.
This year, Axel Feix represented iSAQB by giving a well-attended presentation in the OOP forum on ‘A Standardised Training and Qualification Scheme for Software Architects: the iSAQB CPSA Curricula (Foundation Level and Advanced Level)’.

As in previous years, there was considerable interest in certification as Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Advanced Level (CPSA‑A).

Once again, this year’s OOP trade fair had a comprehensive exhibition to offer, including ca. 60 exhibitors and ca. 1,800 visiting participants.

Many thanks to all iSAQB members who supported us at our stand!!!
