New curriculum version 2021.1 of CPSA‑A® module EMBEDDED has been released
As of November 24, 2021, the new curriculum version 2021.1 of the CPSA‑A module EMBEDDED (Dependable Embedded Systems) in English replaces the previous version.
The curriculum is now based on the current CPSA‑A curriculum template with fine-grained, numbered learning goals. The former chapter on functional safety now has a broader focus on dependability, the real-time chapter has been enhanced and updated. The previous chapter on variant management has been revised to cover adaptability of embedded software in general. The content of the chapter on distributed systems has been integrated into the systems development chapter. The curriculum now has a stronger focus on technical solution concepts, process-related learning goals have been reduced.
